For the past six months I have been dreaming of my new house. Six months ago we drove by our lot of land and said "in six months a house will be standing here - our house will be standing here." Then for the next five months we watched our home be built, from being a hole in the ground to a wooden frame, to being full finished. Now, six months after we looked at a blank piece of land, we are finally looking at a beautiful new home - our beautiful new home.
In two days we will be handed the keys we've been waiting for for six months, and although I am so ready to move in, it will be be bittersweet. Not only did we build our home, but we built a lot of great memories - memories that I will cherish forever. With the memories in our hearts, it's now time to pack up our things and move into our beautiful new home.
