For those of you that know me, you know that I have champagne taste on a beer budget. Well, low and behold this issue has come into play during my search for an area rug. For about the past two weeks now I have been in search of the 'perfect' area rug for my breakfast room, as we have hardwood flooring that I don't want scratched by chairs.
I went onto Kohls' website and found two gorgeous area rugs, both were the most perfect colors, and both were beyond my price point. So for the past couple weeks I have been scouring websites such as eBay, Amazon, even checking out HomeDepot, Lowes, Target, etc., but nothing has caught my eye. Nothing had the right shade of rustic orange and chocolate brown. Nothing was contemporary, and nothing was like the rug at Kohls.
Just as I was about to give up, I checked out the site Overstock.com, and there it was. The rug from Kohls. Same brand, same pattern, same size, but a wayyy different price. With shipping I ended up paying only $134.00, as everything on the site charges $2.95 for shipping. I feel like I should have won a prize for finding that steal of a deal! Go me!!!
Anyway, although I ended up buying the rug from Overstock.com, I have attached the link to the picture of the rug from Kohls' website (better picture). You'll notice - it matches the accent color of my couch pillows just perfectly! Oh, I am so proud of myself!
