Awesome Update!

I'm not going to lie - I kind of forgot what my house was going to look like. It's one of those things, where we looked at the model home almost five months ago, and I kind of forgot just how gorgeous the house is! As we get further and further into the 'finishes' though, it is all coming back. Now I remember what the cabinets look like (because they're in the house), now I remember how sleek and sexy those pillars are in the office and family room. Now I remember how gigantic and gorgeous our master bath is. I LOVE our house - I honestly love, love, love everything about it!

Next week they are finishing the painting, and by the end of the week we will have all our countertops installed! Seems like once that drywall goes up they really start flying. Every day is something new, and that is so exciting. 

Since we are officially at the weekend now, we have successfully made it another week at the low interest rate of 4.25%. I am hoping, praying that it can just stay that low for another eight days and then i'll be the happiest girl ever :) 

Also, I realized yesterday that without buying a bedroom set, I do not have a dresser to put clothes in. This is an issue that needs a well thought out solution prior to us moving into our house. I was able to get away with not having a dresser at our last house because we put in a built-in closet system with drawers, but since we have a massive walk-in closet this time around we aren't doing the closet system thing. So, looks like I might have to get the bedroom set before the kitchen table, which I can't say i'm too happy about. Oh well, one thing at a time!
