An unexpected day off...

When we pulled into the sitters' driveway yesterday we knew right away that she had a rough day. I suppose that statement could go for both our daughter and the sitter, but obviously we were far more concerned about our daughter.

Turned out that she didn't poop all day, and since she hadn't pooped the day before either, she was constipated. Let me tell you - a constipated, crappy, and uncomfortable baby is the worst to deal with. Fast forward to right now (the next morning), she still hasn't pooped, and is still sleeping. I couldn't bring myself to wake up a tired, constipated baby - I just couldn't do it, she needs her sleep more than I need to sit in four meetings and conduct a desk audit.

I figure i'll use today to get caught up on laundry, as well as go up to Babies R Us and buy a shower gift for a friend of mine. I'll probably also go by the house and see if anyone is there. If no one is, then i'll probably poke my head in to check out the progress.

What a crazy day...hopefully it will be a nice day out weather-wise so it'll be worth it! ;)
