This morning I am feeling both frustrated and excited. Frustrated because my "roomates" are making zero effort at being quiet during the nighttime, resulting in my daughter feeling exhausted as she can't sleep. My daughter typically needs about 10-12 hours of sleep, and since she went to bed at 8:30 and was up at 5, she definitely did NOT get her required amount. She's fast asleep in her swing now, but I really hate doing that to her since it's not the same as continuous sleep in her crib. Poor baby :( Never mind poor mommy!
My excitement is because our drywall will be hung today!!! I have been looking forward to this step for what feels like forever. The drywall is estimated to take about a week to a week and a half. This is to hang the drywall, mud it, sand it down and make it smooth and pretty, and then prime it. This stage will make me really happy - my house will begin looking like a home.
Once the drywall is complete then it's time to begin the finishes. The finishes of course include the cabinets for the kitchen and baths, and then the flooring, lighting, and all the other fixtures like the faucets.
I am ready for this process to be over, really, I am just so, so ready....
