Yesterday after work Scott went to the gym and I went to the house. I honestly wasn't expecting much else to be done since Scott's update to me was that this week they were going to paint and put the counters in. Clearly either the builder or Scott left some other "small" details out.
When I pulled up to my house there were three conversion vans parked outside, and about fourty contractors in my house. Some were hauling stuff into the house, some into the garage, some were painting, and some were getting ready to install the vinyl flooring in the laundry room and bathroom upstairs. I was blown away by how much is apparently getting done this week. Not only is all the painting done, and the vinyl flooring being installed, but the appliances are all in the garage as well as all our light fixtures. My jaw is still dropped!
I wasn't planning on going to the house every day this week, but considering it's going to be locked up soon I don't think i'll miss a day!
So while the later part of my evening got hectic, it was a great day for progress around the house :)
